If you aren’t receiving emails from OISS, then they could be going to your Clutter folder!
Quite a number of undergraduate students have told us that they are unable to receive emails sent from OISS recently. A lot of times it is because of the “Clutter” feature, in the relatively new Outlook 365 email system (http://spartanmail.msu.edu), that groups some of your incoming emails into an email thread under the “Clutter” folder such that you might not be aware of those new incoming emails. In order to make sure you will receive all incoming emails that are delivered to your Outlook 365 email account, you could follow the procedures as listed below to disable the “Clutter” function:
Turn Clutter off
You can turn Clutter off anytime in Outlook Web App.
Sign into Outlook Web App. Then, go to Settings > Options > Mail > Automatic processing > Clutter.
Select Don’t separate items identified as Clutter, and then click Save.
NOTE: The Clutter folder remains in Outlook after you turn off the Clutter feature.
