The China Business Challenge (CBC’12) is coming this November! Something professional and challenging for all-major students who have interests in China’s business environment. This year, with more experiences and a greater global network, China Entrepreneur Network (CEN) MSU chapter plans to co-hold this event with UM chapter and to bring this irreversible trend – China-US collaboration – into Michigan State University.

China Business Competition is a business model competition designed to challenge MSU future leaders’ entrepreneurial abilities to tap China’s exponentially growing market and to solve world problems. It can be regarded as an integrated learning experience on business model formation, China’s business environment and its business culture.

The goal of CEN China Business Competition is to help realize win-win results from US-China collaborations, to raise awareness on US-China interconnected social and environmental problems, and to provide hands-on entrepreneurial experience for students from Michigan State University and other CEN chapter universities. The finalist team will represent each engaged university to compete with other elite teams at University of Michigan.

All participants can gain benefits greatly by receiving professional feedback from mentors who represent industry professionals with extensive business experience to China, and by connecting to top-tier Venture Capitalists and Angel Investors from both China and Silicon Valley. After the final round, there will be 3 to 8 winners selected from all the teams, including one Grand Prize, one Pioneer Thinking Award and 3 to 5 categorical prizes, totaled at $30,000 cash prizes to be won.
