There are a lot of things happening at OISS and on-campus today through this weekend. We want to make sure you don’t miss any of it, so here’s the “rundown”:
(run·down/ˈrənˌdoun/Noun: An analysis or summary of something by a knowledgeable person: “he gave his teammates a rundown on the opposition”.)
Beginning at 2 p.m., you can buy tickets for the Great Lakes Crossing “Shopping and Entertainment” field trip in the International Center Lobby.
At 3:30 p.m., there will be a special presentation on H-1B and Investor Visas in N100 Business College Complex.
Then, at 4 p.m., it’s Weekly Coffee Hour, with a “twist”! This week, we will announce the winners of this year’s Essay Contest. This really is one of our favorite coffee hours of the year. Please come celebrate International Education Week with us, and congratulate the 2011 winners!
Celebrate the American holiday of Thanksgiving this Sunday with the MSU Community Relations Coalition! From 1-3 p.m. at Red Cedar Elementary you can join with other students and community member to enjoy a Thanksgiving Feast. The CRC will be providing turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. They are asking everyone to bring a traditional ethnic dish to pass to give this Thanksgiving some international flair! To sign up, please go to their Facebook event page: THANKSGIVING
